Sebastien is a seasoned M&A attorney and General Counsel with more than 20 years of international legal and executive leadership experience spanning the United States, Europe, and global markets. A member of the New York Bar since 2010, Sebastien previously practiced in Luxembourg and Paris, France, advising Fortune 100 companies, global private equity firms, and multinational corporations on high-value cross-border transactions, corporate restructurings, and complex commercial arrangements.
He brings extensive expertise in M&A, corporate governance, contract negotiation, private equity legal counsel, joint ventures, and international corporate structuring, with a focus on designing pragmatic legal frameworks that enable business growth while managing regulatory and transactional risk. Sebastien has led major carve-outs, mergers, IPOs, and multi-jurisdictional reorganizations across more than 50 countries, coordinating cross-functional teams and outside counsel worldwide.
In addition to his transactional background, Sebastien has served as General Counsel and strategic advisor to global businesses, providing board-level guidance on corporate strategy, compliance, risk management, and contract operations. He is affiliated with the American Bar Association, the French-American Bar Association, and the New York City Bar Association, and is recognized for his ability to bridge U.S. and international legal systems in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
